Walk through our Custom design process to get an idea of what to expect for your own piece

1. Initial Consultation & Rough Sketch of Design

Starring with style inspiration brought in during the initial appointment

A few things to think about going into your initial design consultation:

  • Design Aesthetic and Style

    • Art Deco, Edwardian, Neo-Classical, Modern, Organic, Victorian, Art Nuevo

  • Building Materials you want to use, like Metals and Stones

    • We work in Platinum, 18kt gold, 14kt gold, and Silver

    • Diamonds and colored gemstones, both natural and lab-grown

  • Timeline

    • Our custom projects take ten to twelve weeks to complete from the point of deposit. We can work with short time frames, however there is an expedited fee included for a Rush Project. This allows our designers and jewelers to give your piece the full attention it deserves.

  • Project Budget

    • For engagement rings, our custom mountings average around $3,500-$5,000 before adding diamonds or gemstones.

2. Cost Estimate & Refined Sketchwork

  • Estimate Breakdown

    • Our team emails over a cost breakdown for your project including stones, metals, labor, and optional add-ons like appraisals

  • 3-D Rendering

    • Our Designer creates a to-scale sketch of the finished piece with a 3D Printer, giving you an incrediblly accurate visual for your custom piece. You will actually get to try on your piece before it’s even cast in gold or platinum!

    • Sketchwork comes with a $200 fee that will be applied to your project once you place your deposit

3. Stone Sourcing, Final Sketch & Budget Approval

Initial Sketchwork costs $200 - this amount is applied to the total for your project once a deposit is placed

Additional sketch-work will incur an additional cost of $200 per round of sketches that does not go towards the total

  • Diamond and Gemstone Sourcing

    • We choose three center stone options to ensure the gemstone strikes a chord before we set it in your masterpiece!

  • Final Sketchwork

    • Once stones are chosen, we add a touch of color to make your design come to life!

  • Budget Approval

    • We refine the budget until we get to a place where the total amount due feels comfortable

  • Deposit

    • 50% down payment on the total cost of the total job

  • Production

    • We begin either fabrication or use CAD (Computer Animated Design) Modeling to create 3-D model of your ring for casting.

    • From this point we are 8 - 12 weeks out for a finished ring

    • During that time frame many things are happening

      • Casting

      • Cleaning the casting

      • Assembly

      • Polishing

      • Stone Setting

      • Final Polish

      • Apprasial

From here, our final step is handing your ring to our Gemologist for appraisal!

  • Appraisal

    • You will receive a complimentary insurance appraisal for your Custom Creation

  • Final Payment

    • Final payment can be presented upon pickup, or payments can be made throughout the course of production
