Materials and Sourcing

We work with platinum, sterling silver, and gold in 22K, 18K, 14K, and 10K, available in white, yellow, and rose.
However, we do not work with alternative metals such as stainless steel, titanium, or zirconium.
-
Yes! We prioritize ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones, working only with trusted suppliers who adhere to responsible mining and fair labor practices. We also offer conflict-free and lab-grown options for a more sustainable choice.
-
Yes! We offer lab-grown diamonds as well as a variety of alternative gemstones, including lab-grown colored gemstones, sapphires, emeralds, and more.
-
Yes, we can work with your existing gold; however, we strongly recommend using it as a credit toward your custom piece rather than melting it down directly. This is because different alloys and solder in each piece can create structural issues like cracking or porosity when combined. Using fresh, high-quality materials ensures the best durability and craftsmanship for your new jewelry.
-
We ensure the quality of our gemstones by sourcing them from trusted, reputable suppliers who adhere to strict industry standards. Each gemstone is carefully inspected for cut, color, clarity, and durability to meet our high-quality standards.
-
We strive to use environmentally responsible materials by using 100%recycled metals and sourcing ethically mined gemstones, and offering lab-grown diamonds as a sustainable alternative.
-
Yes! All of our diamonds over 1.00 ct come with certification, most commonly from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute). Color gemstones typically do not come with certification unless they are of exceptional quality and larger carat size. However, upon request, we can source certified gemstones with grading reports to ensure authenticity and quality. Let us know if you’d like a certified stone for your custom piece!
Care & Maintance
-
We recommend having your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected every 6 to 12 months to keep it looking its best and to check for any wear or loose stones.
Regular maintenance helps get ahead of issues like prong wear, metal thinning, or gemstone loosening. If your piece is worn daily, more frequent checks may be beneficial.
-
Yes! We offer free jewelry cleaning for all of our custom pieces as well as for pieces we haven't made (limited to 5 items per visit). Visit us in the shop, and we'll have your jewelry looking new in no time!
-
Yes, we can re-polish and re-plate your jewelry, but we recommend doing so sparingly. Polishing involves a micro-reduction of metal, and frequent polishing can accelerate wear, especially on delicate areas like prongs holding your stones.
For white gold, we advise against rhodium plating, as it wears off over time, particularly on high-contact areas, leading to a patchy appearance where bright white contrasts with a light yellow tone.
-
To clean your jewelry at home, mix warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap, soak your piece for a few minutes, and gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly then srcub with alchol to have your piece dry clean.
For delicate stones like opals, avoid soaking them in water. Instead, gently clean with a soft toothbrush and mild soapy water, then pat dry with a soft cloth. Avoid alcohol or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the stone’s surface.
-
It's best to avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming. Chlorine, saltwater, and chemicals can corrode metals, discolor gemstones, and dull the finish over time.
For most diamond, sapphire, and ruby jewelry, showering is generally safe. However, all other gemstones should be kept dry, as water can weaken or damage certain stones. That being said, soap and shampoo can leave a residue, making your jewelry look dull over time. To keep your pieces looking their best, we recommend removing them before swimming (pools, hot tubs, the ocean) and showering.
-
To prevent your silver jewelry from tarnishing, store it in a dry, airtight container like a jewelry box or anti-tarnish pouch.
Keep it away from moisture, perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals, as these can accelerate tarnishing.
Wearing your silver jewelry regularly can also help slow tarnishing, as the natural oils from your skin create a protective barrier. If tarnish does appear, gently clean your jewelry with a silver polishing cloth or a mild jewelry cleaner to restore its shine.
-
Yes, gold and platinum jewelry will naturally develop a patina over time. This is completely normal and adds character to the piece. However, if you have a special occasion and want your jewelry to look polished and new, visit us in the shop, and we’ll refresh it for you quickly!
Returns & Policies
-
Our return policy for ready-made (non-custom) jewelry depends on the condition and timing of the return. We typically accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase, as long as the piece is in its original condition. However, personalized, engraved, or modified pieces are final sale.
For items purchased outside the 30-day return window, they may still be returned for in-store credit only, provided they are in original condition.
-
Since custom pieces are made-to-order and uniquely designed for you, they are final sale and not eligible for refunds or exchanges. However, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will work with you to address any concerns or necessary adjustments. If you have any issues with your piece, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to assist you!
-
